WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN THAT WE CAN’T DO WHATEVER WE WANT TO WITH ANIMALS!? THEY AREN’T TOYS TO HANG (COURTESY OF THAT STUPID TEENAGER A COUPLE OF MONTHS BACK), THROW WHEN WE GET TIRED OF IT, OR IN THIS CASE BLOW UP WITH A FIRECRACKER!

It’s really sad that a majority of Filipinos are still unaware, uninformed with the right attention and care to give dogs. 

This is my random blogging about my itch to have a new do. If you’re part of my circle, you’d know one thing about me, I love experimenting on my hair.

I had it long, short, spiky, out of bed, clean, sleek, wavy and the list goes on!

I just really get tired so easily of staying with one certain look. I guess it comes with the territory of being a model.

I did try not to do anything to my hair a couple of times aswell, but the ITCH is just too strong. The most recent was last April(2011), when I chopped most of it off, and wanted to just feel easy. 

But the inevitable itch came back. And I’ve been really wanting to go curly again.

First time perming was 5-6 years ago. It was the longest my hair got, around shouder length. Looking back now, I didn’t really liked it.

Well, I didn’t really paid attention to it that time, so that’s why it kept growing and growing. (Was on hiatus from modeling cos of my ulcers)

Didn’t know that I could cut and still play up curly/permed hair.

But hey, now worries, atleast Candy Magazine took notice, and got me to shoot for 2 editorial issues in one year !

Not much of my friends knew that I was born a curly boy. My parents tell me stories how I had big cute curls like a doll. (Still don’t know if that’s a good thing though)

But this time around, with all the knowledge I have on curls and inspired by some of my fave international male models, I can’t wait to just werk it!. 

The one that inspired me the most is Mr. Simon Nessman.

Not much people really know about international models, I guess except if they get into the showbiz side of things like Bar Rafaeli for dating Leo DiCaprio or Gabriel Aubry for marrying and impregnating Halle Berry (Now divorced).

Well Nessman in short was one of the few who started the ‘beautiful boy’ look in 2009. Instantly booked a lot of campaigns like Armani Exchange, Michael Kors and  many many more!

Ranked #5 top male model of ‘10.

Road to Curly ~.~

1st.

Goodbye to straight.

2nd. 

They use curlers to put everything in place(Duh?).

It takes about an hour in rolling everything in. It gets tiring, and in my case, kinda painful, cos the stylist needed to really pull on it since I have relatively shorter hair than usual.

3rd.

Stylist drips the 1st perming formula to every roll. (Sorry dunno what it’s called, but you’d know cos it’s so stinky) and that stays for another hour, while they heat me up for 10 to 20 minutes with a big machine that they call Infrared/Heater. It has a circle the goes round and round your head.

At this point I was scared for my life! It was like I was being transported to another world! 

4th.

Last round, 2nd formula which will take about 20 minutes. Now looking like a villain from Star Wars or the cartoon Megamind! LOL

*It’ll help if you have someone with you for 3 hours being in the salon. Brought my friend and got her rebonded. =)

After, they just slightly shampoo you and your off!

Reminders:

Usually they tell you not to wash your hair with shampoo for atleast 48 hours. 

But stylist says I can the next day.

Via researching the internet, you can wash the next day without shampooing, just to rid off the smell!

I literally woke up after an hour of sleep cos it could really get to you.

The morning after

*Unfortunately, I got bruised on my forehead. Maybe it was the tight curler pressing on with the heat and formulas.

Learned a new term from the stylist ~~> Tiis Ganda! lol
